July’s Leaderboard: Where the Permits Went

Frisco continues to rank among the nation’s fastest-growing cities, and the City’s July 2025 permit report confirms it. The data shows which neighborhoods are seeing the most new home construction, offering a clear look at where families and builders are betting on Frisco’s future.

According to the City of Frisco July 2025 Building Permit Report, these neighborhoods led the way in new single-family residential permits:

  1. Brookside, July’s top performer, showing strong momentum in north Frisco.

  2. Collinsbrook Farm, a consistent favorite among families.

  3. The Grove Frisco, continued demand in the city’s eastern corridor.

  4. Fields West, boosted by nearby commercial anchors like Universal Kids Resort.

  5. Edgestone at Legacy, strong luxury segment growth.

  6. Phillips Creek Ranch, steady development with broad appeal.

  7. Hollyhock, activity tied to PGA Frisco’s long-term impact.

  8. Lexington Frisco, new phases keeping momentum strong.

  9. Dominion at Panther Creek, an entry-level option that continues to attract buyers.

  10. Estates at Rockhill, northwest Frisco expansion on the rise.

By the Numbers: Contractors Driving Growth

The report also breaks down activity by builder. Among July’s top contractors were Lennar Homes, leading permit activity across several communities, Toll Brothers with a strong luxury presence in Edgestone and Lexington, and Pulte Homes showing steady activity in master-planned neighborhoods. These builders remain central players in shaping Frisco’s rapidly changing landscape.

Why It Matters

Every permit is more than just a number. It represents another home, another family, another investment in Frisco’s future. The leaderboard highlights where the city is expanding fastest, while also hinting at the pressure points such as schools, roads, and public services.

For residents, the growth brings both opportunity and challenge. Property values and local amenities continue to rise, while traffic and infrastructure demands follow closely behind.

Bottom line: July’s leaderboard confirms what many in Frisco already see day to day. The city is booming, with north and west Frisco driving much of the action. Brookside and Collinsbrook Farm may be the month’s biggest winners, but every corner of Frisco continues to feel the momentum.
