Clutch City Cluckers Frisco opening first Dallas-Fort Worth location with weekend celebration

A New Dining Option for Frisco

Clutch City Cluckers, a Texas-based hot chicken brand, is opening its first Dallas-Fort Worth location in Frisco. The grand opening celebration is scheduled for May 24–25, 2025, at 15801 Rolator Road, Suite #206.

Clutch City Cluckers in Frisco is expected to excite residents and business owners alike, as it highlights the city’s growing food scene, offering families, students, and late-night diners a new option in town.

Grand Opening Weekend

The celebration begins Saturday, May 24th at 5 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and free meals, with all orders over the weekend being 50 percent off. Other activities include live entertainment, giveaways, exclusive discount cards, and branded merchandise to early visitors.

In Frisco, where late-night dining options remain limited, Clutch City Cluckers will operate until 2 a.m. on weekends.

Owner, Ahmad Kilani expressed his excitement, “Bringing Clutch City Cluckers to Dallas has been a long time coming,” Kilani said. “Our fans have been asking us to open here for years, and we are thrilled to finally make it happen.”

Menu and Atmosphere

Clutch City Cluckers offers hot chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, tacos, loaded fries, desserts, and more. All with spice levels ranging from mild to extra hot. For vegetarian diners, options such as fried cauliflower and salads are available. The Frisco restaurant offers a 1,250-square-foot space with dine-in seating and walk-up ordering. Featuring black and red interiors as well as a neon-lit selfie wall.

From Food Truck to Dine-In Resturant

Clutch City Cluckers started in Houston in 2021 as a single food truck, gaining attention for its Halal hot chicken and flame-painted trucks. In four years, it had grown to 12 locations, with Clutch City Cluckers Frisco being the company’s 13th location and second permanent storefront.

Kilani, a native of Irbid, Jordan, moved to Houston in 2015 to pursue graduate studies. While attending school, he worked at the city’s first Halal food truck. That experience sparked his vision for a business of his own.

The name “Clutch City” honors Houston’s NBA team, the Rockets, which earned the nickname after winning the 1994 and 1995 championships. The brand’s logo, a rocket-riding chicken, reflects Kilani’s hope to see his company grow nationwide.

Impact on the Community

The new restaurant brings another dining option to Rolator Road, a buzzing area attracting more retail and entertainment development. For residents, Clutch City Cluckers provides a place for family meals, late-night snacks, and community gatherings. Its hours and menu make it a versatile addition to the city’s dining landscape.

Looking Ahead

Frisco continues to attract new restaurants and businesses that see opportunity in its growth. Clutch City Cluckers joins that trend, offering a menu that blends popular national flavors with the city’s diverse community.

The grand opening is scheduled for May 24–25. With free meals, discounted orders, and live entertainment, it will be one of the most anticipated restaurant openings of the year in Frisco.
