Frisco Announces 2025 Grant Allocations for Community Support

The City of Frisco has announced the allocation of grants for the fiscal year 2025, supporting various social service programs that benefit residents. These grants, funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the Social Service Grant, aim to enhance community services and address the needs of low- and moderate-income individuals.


Grant Allocations for Fiscal Year 2025:


  1. Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County: Received $40,294 from CDBG and $20,000 from the Social Service Grant for the "Project Learn" initiative and transportation services.

  2. CASA of Collin County: Awarded $15,000 for children's advocacy services.

  3. CASA of Denton County: Granted $10,000 to support children's advocacy efforts.

  4. Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County: Secured $20,000 for youth services for abused children and transportation.

  5. Christian Community Action: Received $15,000 for rescue services.

  6. Community Lifeline Center: Allocated $5,000 for the "One Month Away" program.

  7. Cornerstone Assistance Network: Granted $30,000 for life skills programs.

  8. City House: Awarded $13,500 for youth shelter and services, plus $5,000 for transportation.

  9. Frisco Family Services: Received $45,650 from CDBG, $80,000 from the Social Service Grant, and $9,000 for transportation to support bilingual advocacy services and the food pantry.

  10. Grace to Change: Allocated $30,000 for opioid remediation efforts.

  11. Hope’s Door: Granted $20,000 for domestic violence intervention services.

  12. Meals on Wheels Collin County: Secured $35,650 to provide meals to homebound individuals.

  13. Samaritan Inn: Received $29,561 to support homeless shelter services and transportation.

  14. Wellness Center for Older Adults: Awarded $5,000 for preventative health care services.


Additionally, the City of Frisco allocated $145,214 for grant administration to ensure effective management and distribution of funds.
