Fields West Development

A Project Years In The Making

Fields West, the 55-acre mixed-use village in Frisco, has officially secured a $425 million construction loan. The deal closed July 1 with Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, and Prosperity Bank on board. The City of Frisco also pitched in $70 million through municipal bonds, showing strong public and private support.

From Legacy West to Fields West Frisco

The developer, Fehmi Karahan, is no stranger to big projects. He’s the mind behind Plano’s Legacy West, and his goal is to bring that same level of impact to Frisco. The project is expected to create jobs, attract families, and become a regional destination.

What’s coming soon

Openings are set to start in late 2027. Plans include 350,000 square feet of retail and dining, 325,000 square feet of office space, plus a walkable design. About 70% of the space is already leased, with names like Bloomie’s, Alo Yoga, Sephora, and Mastro’s Steakhouse.

Why it matters

What I find most interesting is that Fields West isn’t just about shopping. It’s being built with livability and open spaces in mind, aiming to be a place where people work, gather, and spend time. And with over $400 million in expected annual sales, it’s clear this project will play a major role in Frisco’s future.
